According to an <a href="http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080318/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_lynndie_england_3;_ylt=Av.BDMBFumzxjkXU18qq2kME1vAI">AP piece</a>, she acknowledges that after the photos of the atrocities were exposed, the Iraqi insurgency picked up.
