So... How 'bout that Tebow ad?

Sports post by Kelsey Wallace on February 8, 2010 - 11:13am; tagged abortion, Focus on the Family, Pam Tebow, Super Bowl Commercials, the super bowl, Tim Tebow.
If you are among the record numbers of people who tuned in to yesterday's Super Bowl, then you had the chance to see the controversial Focus on the Family ad starring Tim Tebow and his mother, Pam. And if the ad shocked you at all, it was probably due to how tame it turned out to be.

Going Pro: Anti-Choice Super Bowl Ad Responses

Sports post by Kelsey Wallace on February 3, 2010 - 1:47pm; tagged planned parenthood, reproductive rights, Super Bowl Commercials, the super bowl, Tim Tebow.

TV post by Kelsey Wallace on January 21, 2010 - 12:21pm; tagged abortion rights, anti-choice fanaticism, CBS, Focus on the Family, football, Nick Cannon, Super Bowl Commercials, the super bowl, Tim Tebow.

Speaking of Super Bowl Ads

Science post by La Macha on February 4, 2009 - 9:35am; tagged abortion, motherhood, Obama, race, Super Bowl Commercials.

The following was apparently an ad that NBC refused to show during the Super Bowl. It is a commercial featuring an ultra sound of an unborn baby--which all wraps up into an image of Obama. The basic message being: if Obama's mother had aborted him because it was going to be "hard" to raise him, the U.S. never would have achieved the historic election of a black man."

Sweet.
