Project Runway All Stars

It was the grand finale last night for our All Stars as joy, tears, and pantsuits filled the runway:


“It’s the story of a vampire from the 18th century who has lived many hundreds of years and now resides in Williamsburg, occasionally borrowing clothes from her Hasidic dandy friends.”

Well, Lifetime only gave us part one of the Project Runway All Stars finale last night, but we still got a sneak peek at what the designers have in store for the runway next week (hint: Fragonard's therapist on safari), and a few of our old faves returned to the workroom.

It was penny-pinching time last night as our All Stars took on a ready-to-wear challenge with budget constraints—and Nanette Lepore!

We stepped off the runway and into a Daft Punk video last night as our All Stars took on an electrified black light challenge. In addition to eternal glowing glory, the winner's look will be featured in a vaguely outlined Pharrell project!


One of these judges is embarrassed for the other three, and it's not the guy who lives for Teletubbies.

Our remaining six designers were taken to the U.N. and inspired by the flags of six different nations. Except for Jerell, who was inspired by stereotypes.

Our posse's on Broadway!

It was a fashion face-off for all seasons last night for our Project Runway All Stars.


This "who made it first?" coat scene was more dramatic than it looks.

Last night, our All Stars hit the streets to find inspiration (and innocent bystanders willing to donate the clothes off their backs) for an a-muse-ing runway challenge.


They're all titillated, but only one of them got his number.

It was a gelato- and von Furstenberg-filled challenge for our Project Runway All Stars last night, but no amount of gelato could cheer us up after that judging disaster.


Joanna Coles is just as upset as we are about all of this.
