Who I am:

I'm a film geek and feminist writer living in Chicago with my partner, Jake, and our dachshund, Libby. I'm currently a member of The Feminist Review's Editorial Collective and a staff writer for InReview Online. I've had work published in Bitch, Sadie BGFun magazin. What I'm reading:

I'm trying to catch-up with Buffy's season 8 comic series. I'm also re-reading a lot of Molly Haskell essays and attempting to become a Wonder Woman comic aficionado.

What I'm listening to:

Lots of Joni Mitchell, She & Him, and The Kinks.

What I'm watching:

Public Enemies! Multiple times!!!

Griffith, Max Ophuls, Jean-Luc Godard, Jacques Rivette, Agnes Varda, George Cukor, Federico Fellini, Johnnie To, Pedro Almodovar, Jean Renoir, Louis Malle, Chantal Ackerman, Michael Mann, Anthony Mann, John Woo, Jacques Demy, etc. I absolutely love classic Hollywood flicks and genre pictures .
