Everett Maroon (that’s me) lives and writes in Walla Walla, WA. A transplant from Washington, DC, I was a founding member of the DC Trans Coalition, which helped to install the most comprehensive protective regulations for transgender people in the country. A member of the Pacific Northwest Writer’s Association, I write about acclimating to the area at trans/plant/portation. I am the Features Editor of a blog about popular culture, I Fry Mine in Butter. I'm a memoirist, satirist, and pop culture commentator. I spent time trying desperately to improve government Web sites, but now I spend a lot more time baking, and that's been strangely more productive.
