Welcome, guest bloggers!

I'm really excited to announce that starting this very week we'll be hosting a rotating crew of guest bloggers. I'd like to introduce and welcome our first two:

Juliana Tringali, a regular and longtime contributor to and supporter of Bitch, started out as an intern here way back in the day, when she wrote this piece. Juliana will be blogging with a feminist eye on mainstream TV – so if you're dying to have conversations like, "Why Is 'Fake' the new 'Bitchy'?" after the latest episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta or America's Next Top Model, tune in...

and

Lisa, who blogs at A Woman's Ecdysis, truly one of the raddest blogs around, and where I'm always learning new concepts (like the term kyriarchy). Lisa will be exploring the term "feminist" in-depth – including recent controversies and conflicts, and efforts to claim feminism– asking questions like, What does it say when pro-choice advocates supported Sarah Palin and How does academic feminism fit into hip-hop?

We're honored to have these two fabulous thinkers and writers join us in this new step...

More to come soon. In the meantime, if you have an idea for a guest blog you'd like us to consider, please email pitches, along with writing/blog samples, to online(at)b-word.org.
