Just so you all don't think I don't love and support our gal-comics on this side of the pond, I thought I'd share this. You may have already seen this if you have cable—but Samantha Bee of The Daily Show does a great bit with Stewart about her reaction as a woman to McCain's choice of Palin for VP. If you haven't seen it, hold out for her closing line—brilliant!

truly brilliant, yes.
though i admire women in politics in general given our overall lack of representation, the republican veep candidate is hard to swallow because of her conservative views and lack of qualifications, but indeed, she is a clever choice. i love her on that show 30 Rock!

Thanks a lot for sharing this video, it's really funny to depict women as ready to vote for the candidate with the dreamy eyes =) It always seemed to me that To McCain, women are just empty headed bobbysoxers swooning over the Beatles (even not Justin or Enrique- who are they?=)....Nevertheless, I think that’s the best thing I’ve heard on TV=)
