Photo Essay: Seven Female-Fronted Bands from SXSW

There were hundreds of astounding musicians at SXSW music fest, which wrapped up this weekend. Photographer Garrett Cornelison put together this photo collection of seven great female-fronted bands from Austin's festival.

Doesn't "female fronted" mean that the singer is a women, cause at least in the case of Ra Ra Riot (which is an awesome bad with two kickass female musicans) the frontman is indeed a man...
