"Allegedly" shot
I understand (as a lawyer probably better than many people) that nobody wants to get sued for defamation by stating contested facts as proven in the context of a criminal trial, but journalists might as well get the rules right: Steenkamp was not "allegedly shot" by Pistorius -- he has admitted to shooting her. She was either "shot" by him or "allegedly murdered" by him.
