From the Library: Upcoming Online YA Book Club
Those of you who voted decided on Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce, Tender Morsels by Margo Lanagan, Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott, Ash by Malinda Lo, and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith.
So I bet you're waiting to find out when we're going to be discussing these picks? Well, we've decided to host the book club on the first Friday of the month, from April through August*. Here's the schedule:
April 1st: Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce
May 6th: Tender Morsels by Margo Lanagan
June 3rd: Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott
July 1st: Ash by Malinda Lo
August 5th: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
Interested in joining in on the discussion? There's no need to sign up! Just read the book and pay attention to the blog the day of the discussion. We're super excited for the conversations that will stem from reading these YA books together.
Oh! And just in case there's any confusion about this, you don't need to be a young adult in order to participate in our young adult book club.
That should cover it! Let's get to reading!
*Please note that the dates of the book clubs changed on February 22nd. We've pushed all of the book clubs out a month due to scheduling issues. We're excited to begin this book club on April 1st.
