For Realz?: Dancing With The Democrat

Yay, my favorite dancer wins Dancing with the Stars! I have a lot of random reasons for rooting for Shawn Johnson (I love the Olympics; I felt like Johnson got less attention than that other girl in the Olympics this year, Nastia Liukin, because Liukin was taller, thinner, and blonder; I was a little freaked out for Johnson when they found that stalker guy on the Dancing with the Stars set), but honestly, the main reason why I was pulling for Shawn Johnson to win is that she led the Pledge of Allegiance at the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver.

A good dancer AND a Democrat (unlike some other gymnasts we could name)? Yes we can! Yes we can!
