Cookie Monsters
I found an excellent little item on Salon's ladies-centric blog "Broadsheet"—an entry about, uh, cookie cutters that are in the shape of fetuses.
The very existence of said kitchen implements would be wack enough, except the entry's author, Abby Margulies, ups the wack factor with some wonderfully weird questions concerning the fetus cookie concept (my favorite: "Are they funny at a baby shower, or even more disturbing?").
Perhaps wanting to avoid controversy, Marguiles fails, however, to ask the most important question, the one that gets to the heart of the matter: Do cookies begin at dough, or are they cookies only once they are fully cooked?
