Buy This Print: Truth & Consequences
Now you can buy limited-edition prints of some of our favorite Bitch covers! To celebrate our 15th anniversary, we've got 15 archival giclee prints to choose from, all on high-quality, heavy watercolor paper, suitable for framing. Each print offers gorgeous photos, cool illustrations, nifty typography, and lots of color to perk up your living space. To show you what they look like in action, we'll be highlighting a different print on the blog each day in its natural habitat. Today we have Truth & Consequences, shown on a fiery orange wall at Kristin's house. Honest!

Truth & Consequences: Issue 29, Summer 2005
Art Director: Nicholas Brawley
Photographer: Jeffery Walls
For an issue that was all about mystery—in the form of comic-book hoaxes, closeted historical figures, and activism on the margins—we wanted this cover to be as open and literal as possible. And so, a pair of pants on fire. Setting objects aflame was very much the goal for this cover (an alternate, ultimately discarded concept involved a barbeque grill and a ream of paper), which marked a departure from the illustrated and collaged concepts of the past eight issues. After only a few shots and one charred clothesline, it was done.
Only 12 of these limited-edition prints remain—it's the Truth! Buy yours today or face the Consequences! (See what we did there?)
