BitchTapes: Country Roses

Sure, Poison may have had a hit with "Every Rose Has its Thorn," and the Portlander in me will always love Elliott Smith's "Rose Parade," but no other genre pays tribute to music's favorite flower quite like country. So, without further ado, here's a mix of classic country crooners singing their rose-studded hits.

Track list:

  1. "Love Is A Rose" by Linda Ronstadt
  2. "San Antonio Rose" by Patsy Cline
  3. "Roses in the Snow" by Emmylou Harris
  4. "Mexican Rose" by Freddie Fender
  5. "Give My Love to Rose" by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash
  6. "Laredo Rose" by Texas Tornados
  7. "One Red Rose" by John Prine
  8. "Van Lear Rose" by Loretta Lynn
  9. "Rose Garden" by Lynn Anderson
  10. "Tennessee Rose" by Emmylou Harris
  11. "A Poor Man's Roses" by Patsy Cline
  12. "Mama Liked the Roses" by Elvis Presley
  13. "Rose of My Heart" by Johnny Cash
