I've read all the books and
I've read all the books and the show follows about 80%. In the books, we're a lot further along. liked reading the books more because the show is taking /forever/ with the storyline. I'm hoping that the show sticks with the books on a few points, like less Bill. The book's version is chocked fulled of supernatural creatures -- more than the show has put in -- and so I'd recommend reading them if you don't want to keep waiting on HBO. While I can't get into the show, I am interested in seeing how it differs.
