It's like The View except we can't get Snooki to come talk to us.

Welcome back to another episode of Bitch Popaganda! Lend your ears as Kjerstin, Shaamini, and Kelsey discuss the ads from Sunday's Super Bowl, The Weekly Standard's New Dating Game, and Valentine's Day (the holiday and the movie that's overtaking it).

Listen to the podcast by clicking the player below, or by subscribing to Bitch on iTunes. You can also download it at archive.org.

In the podcast, we mention that we'd like to see a gender-reversed version of that ridiculous Dodge Charger ad. Our Internet prayers were answered!

Articles/clips discussed

The Dove Men Plus Care ad:

- Best and Worst Super Bowl ads by Seth Stevenson

- Super Bowl Top 10 Most-Liked, Most-Recalled Ads from the Nielsen Company

And here, of course, is the Valentine's Day trailer:

I am not sure why women are

I am not sure why women are offended when they are called a bitch for asserting themselves. That's exactly what you are being. A guy who asserts himself is subject to be called the same thing; no one cares.

Point being; don't assert yourself, whether you are a guy or a girl, because no one gives a fuck.

And I am not sure what you mean.

I don't quite get your point here, Anonymous. I don't hear a lot of assertive guys being called bitches, but since "no one cares" anyway I guess it doesn't matter...?

At any rate, if you are referring to the title of the magazine, you're right – we aren't offended when someone calls us Bitch. We do think it's OK for people to assert themselves, though. Agree to disagree?

I love it! I was cracking up

I love it! I was cracking up listening to the conversations and I agree you cannot really escape Valentines Days. My mother insists on decking the house out in decorations every chance she gets so while I workout in the living room I get to stare at hearts hanging from the fan. I plan on celebrating the day with my Father and my little sisters because yes I am single this Valentines Day! Instead of giving in to societal norms and feeling "bad" because I am single I am going to shower my Dad in love!

Yes! I completely agree with

Yes! I completely agree with this video. I saw this hosted on a news blog and I found it quite amusing that many men were attacking it, complaining that women were making a big deal out of nothing and yada yada. It just goes to show how much were are forced to accept this crap as the "norm" because of the male-dominated society we live in. Putting this up on my blog.
