Birth control is a

Birth control is a controversial subject, and a multi-billion dollar industry. Many women considered using birth control pills in order to prevent pregnancy. This is a daily pill that contains hormones to change the way the body works and made it virtually impossible for a woman to get pregnant. A bill was passed in 2007 which eliminated a financial incentive for pharmaceutical companies to sell the pills at a discount at colleges, leading to a price jump of over 300% in some cases. This jump in price required students, AKA consenting adults, to get a payday loan in some cases to have birth control pills. Obama has repealed this law, which will make the birth control pill available at a discount again.
