Mad Men: Take This Christmas Waltz

The Christmas episode of Mad Men put us in a holiday mood:

Don and Joan at a bar, smiling at each other
And by "holiday mood" we mean a state of Don-and-Joan-induced euphoria.

Mad Men: Dark Shadows

We're thankful for last night's episode of Mad Men—whipped cream, Manischewitz and all.

Not Buying It: 10 TV Shows Ranked by Wardrobe Believability

There are plenty of shows on television right whose characters sport highly realistic wardrobes, and there are just as many that definitely don't. I crowdsourced (read: asked people on Facebook and Twitter) some examples of both recently and have ranked 10 shows based on a completely unscientific wardrobe believability index. My only criteria were that the show in question: A. is currently on the air, and B. takes place in 2012 (sorry Mad Men and Game of Thrones, I love your clothes but I don't know how believable it is for Jon Snow to be wearing a yak fur). Check out the rankings after the jump, and be sure to add your own in the comments!

Mad Men: Just Taste It!

Last night's Mad Men had us reaching for our Sylvia Plath books, our Gilmore Girls DVDs, and our tubs of Cool Whip.

Okay, maybe not the Cool Whip.

End of Gender: Bringin' Out the Bono

With hidden cameras and a hint of pedantry, ABC's primetime series What Would You Do? has tested society's comfort with everything from same-sex parents to public breastfeeding. This week's segment tackles transphobia and reveals what we already knew: No conversation about transgender people is complete without bringing out the Bono.

Mad Men: At the Codfish Ball

Last night's Mad Men blew us away!

You know what we mean.

Mad Men: Far, Far Away

We're going to need a room at that Howard Johnson motor lodge to process everything that happened on Mad Men last night. What a trip!

"The Women's Vote" Was Awesome on The Daily Show Last Night

On The Daily Show last night, Jason Jones met with Tad Devine, a political consultant, to talk about the increasing emphasis on "the women's vote" among the remaining presidential candidates. After pointing out that many of the discussions about women in Washington don't actually involve women, Jones invited Joanne Smith (Girls for Gender Equity), Julie Menin (Eleanor's Legacy), Sonia Ossorio (NOW NYC), and representatives from Emily's List and the League of Women Voters to join in.
