Anthony Geisler, President of LA Boxing, is dealing with Chris Brown's arrest on criminal threat charges in true eye-for-an-eye fashion. Geisler started a Facebook group earlier this week called, I Want to Fight Chris Brown. (At the time of this post the group had 1,528 members and counting.) He also sent a letter to Brown's manager challenging Brown to step into the ring with him and "see what it's like to face a real opponent."

I was going to post today about how I got the Wii Fitness for Christmas and what my thoughts were.

But today, the only thing I can think about and post about is what is happening in the Gaza strip right now.

Two days after Christmas, the Israeli government began military strikes against Gaza. Children were heading home from school, university students were waiting for the bus to pick them up, fathers were sending their children out on errands.

And then the strikes began and Gaza was blown to shreds.

At least one out of every three women around the world has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in her lifetime — with the abuser usually someone known to her. Violence against women and girls is a universal problem of epidemic proportions. Perhaps the most pervasive human rights violation that we know today, it devastates lives, fractures communities, and stalls development.
